Greg has worked with students of varying levels and backgrounds in workshops, clinics, and schools around the world.

His career as an educator includes teaching privately, directing ensembles and teaching ear training as a graduate student at New England Conservatory, and teaching piano and ear training at the Berklee College of Music, where he founded the innovative cross-cultural class, World Music Ear Training. Most recently Greg has been a visiting professor of piano at the Conservatory of Music in Frosinone Italy.

Along with a contagious energy and more than a decade of experience as a professional jazz musician/recording artist, his approach to teaching basic skill development, jazz improvisation and rhythm emphasizes the collective discovery of his students' potential. His own simple and innovative Groove Cell Notation, for example, uses a system that helps students learn difficult rhythms with ease.
